About Me
I was born, raised, educated, and am now living in the DFW area of north Texas. I started playing saxophone in 2013 and first started writing music in 2018. I'm a recent graduate of the University of North Texas, holding a Bachelor's in Music Composition
During my time at UNT I was a 4-year member of the Green Brigade Marching Band, serving one year as a Drum Major for the group in 2022-23. From 2021-2023 I performed with the PYXIS Saxophone Quartet (pictured below), including a performance at the annual Texas Music Educators Association convention in February 2023. I am also an alum of the Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity, Xi Beta Chapter.

Hobbies
I enjoy listening to and performing all genres of - and genre-defying or meta-breaking - music. In particular, I quite like deep listening, impressionist, and eclectic musical styles. I tend to prefer denser harmony and textures and through-composed forms.

Outside of my time studying, writing, listening to, and playing music you would most likely find me watching movies, playing board games, or playing video games.
